Preface
I have been an ardent student and teacher of the Tarot for over 30
years. The Wise Woman’s Tarot has been both a dream and a lifework
spanning some 25 years from conception to completion. My vision was to
create a powerful deck that would illustrate the global nature of the
Feminine Lineage while providing an incredibly useful tool for divination and
empowerment.
As research and design of the
Wise Woman's Tarot deck was completed, artist Barbara Vogel joined this project to give visual shape to the
images described in the text. She was able to capture the inherent power
and beauty of the Goddess in her many guises. We shared a fruitful collaboration resulting in the visual images of the cards
themselves. The Wise Woman’s Tarot is very user-friendly. This book enables one to
easily “read” these special cards, and opens endless possibilities for
developing one’s intuitive gifts and for healing.
In the past, occultists have prided themselves on shrouding their
“secrets” in a cloak of mystery. In this new Aquarian Age of Enlightenment, it is no longer desirable or for the good of the universe to hoard
esoteric knowledge. This book is another rung on the ladder of higher
