"This sacred society of the Kiowa is especially associated with ritual dance and healing." The three women dance
in ritualistic celebration. Behind them is a tepee with their totem Buffalo
painted on it. Each one is wearing her own particular medicine pouch. Their individual energies are joined and become
greater than the sum of its parts. The Buffalo women are an example of the
healing power of sisterhood, community and celebration. On a more mundane
level, this card can also indicate triangulation.
