"She is the African saviour/heroine who rescued her people of Machakeni from starvation" by instructing them to seek divine
help from their ancestral spirits. We see Sabulana simultaneously as a
priestess singing and addressing spectres in the sky and presenting her people
with food as they rejoice in a circle with drums and dancers. The concept of
the tribe is shown here as well as the bounty provided through the family,
both ancestral and tribal alike. This card reminds us to ask the spirits and
our ancestors when we get stuck or need help. They welcome and appreciate our
efforts.
